The Embroiderers’ Guild of America is a not-for-profit organization that was created to foster the highest standards of excellence in the practice of the art of embroidery through an active program of education and study, and to preserve the heritage of the art of embroidery.
The Red Rose Chapter was Chartered on February 17, 1976. We are in the MidAtlantic Region of EGA.
Meetings are held at the Highland Presbyterian Church, 1801 Oregon Pike, Lancaster, PA, 17601, on the third Thursday of each month except December, at 7:00 PM.
As a member you will enjoy many benefits which include our bi-monthly newsletter, the "NewsYarn" and a beautiful quarterly magazine, "NeedleArts" that is published by the National headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky. You will also be eligible for seminars and other learning experiences such as Correspondence Courses, SMART day, the annual Christmas luncheon, and special study groups which meet throughout the year.
