Section D – Mile 3.14- 3.52 Going down hill towards Tucquan Creek.
We will be relocating this steep downhill segment to mitigate erosion caused by usage in the spring of 2009. It relocation will involve adding switchbacks and waterbars. It will add some length to the trail but will reduce the grade on the segment.
Section D – Mile 11. Norman Woods Bridge and connection to Mason Dixon Trail.
Painting and resurfacing of the bridge could cause delays, and or obstructions for hikers connecting between the Conestoga and Mason-Dixon trails through the end of 2009.
