Club PinClub Meetings

During the 2005-06 Lions year, the Club will be holding meetings at a variety of locations, and board meetings may be held immediately following some ‘regular’ Club meetings. Please check our News section for an up-to-date list of meeting dates and places.

The Ephrata Lions Club (Multiple District 14D, Region III, Zone B) meets the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month, at 6:30 p.m. Most of our meetings are held at the Ephrata Amvets Post 136, 614 South State Street. Interested people — including non-members and visiting Lions — are always welcome to attend.

The Board of Directors meets the 4th Monday of each month, at 7:00 p.m., usually at the Ephrata Review offices (1 East Main Street). Contact a club officer to confirm meeting location.

Exceptions to the normal meeting schedule include the following:

  • January of odd-numbered years (2007): one of our January meetings is moved to the 2nd Tuesday, to meet with the Akron Lions Club at the Ephrata Amvets. In 2005, we met Tuesday, January 11 with the Akron Lions, and again Thursday, January 20 for our ‘regular’ meeting.
  • April: our second meeting is typically held Friday, in conjunction with the District 14D Presidents’ Honor Night.
  • July and August: our only meetings are the 3rd Thursdays, at the pavilion in the Ephrata Elks Park (170 Akron Road).
  • October: our second meeting is typically held in conjunction with the Region III Rally, also the third Thursday.

There may be additional exceptions to our meeting schedule due to holidays, special activities, etc. Please check our News section or contact a Club Officer or any Club Member to verify meeting dates and locations.

New members and donations are always welcome.
