Why Sertoma?
SERVICE TO MANKIND
The primary focus of Sertoma is communication…helping people with speech and hearing disabilities. Our Clubs actively promote freedom and democracy programs. Sertomans communicate the anti-drug message to today’s youth. Sertoma offers a divergence of community services. The EASTERN LANCASTER COUNTY SERTOMA CLUB chooses sponsorships based upon the community’s needs.
SERTOMA’S MISSION
Sertoma exists for the high and nobel purpose of SERVICE TO MANKIND by communication of thoughts, ideas and concepts to accelerate human progress in health, education, freedom and democracy.
Sertoma believes that universal communication, whether heard, seen or spoken, is the key to understanding. The purpose of Sertoma is to support the approved charitable and Sertoma family through effective fund distribution of proceeds. Through the financial support of our community we become the catalyst for greater human understanding and SERVICE TO MANKIND.
